Never Thought I'd Love Again (Second Chance) - Chapter 4

Devon was in Starbucks waiting for Fretzie....she took a sip from her coffee when she saw a familiar face coming towards her...


"Devon?" the guy said.


"Sam?" Devon said.


"Glad you still remember me" Sam said and took a sit. "So,what are you doing here?"


"I'm waiting for Fretzie..You,what are you doing here?"


"Nothing..Just want to be alone but since you're here..I think I have someone to talk to" He said and smiled.


"Oh okay" she laughed.


"So,is it okay if I ask you something?" he asked.


"Yes,what is it?" she said.


"Uhmm..about the day when I saw you in the park crying,thinking about something..I just want to ask what or who is the reason why you crying.Is it okay?" he said.curiously.


"Oh about that..Yes,it is okay if you asked about it..My Ex-boyfriend did that to me.." she sighed and continued. "Oh well,it's already done.I'm moving on now" she said and smiled.


"Oh,is it okay if you tell me his name?" he asked.


"It's James." she said.


"mind to share what happened?" he said and took a sip from his coffee.


"Okay" she said and took a sip from her coffee.


Flashback


"Devz,I have something to tell you" James said.

"W-what is it?" Devz said nervously.

"I want to break up with you." He said.

"But why?!" she asked,tears started to fall.

"I'm leaving for Australia and I loved someone else." He said.

"But James" Devon said.

"Please,Devon.Just understand that I don't love you anymore." He said.

"Fine! Go and don't ever come back! And promise me that you'll never regret this day that you broke up with me?!" she said.angrily.

"I promise" James said.

"Leave and don't ever come back!"

After Devon said that James left..It was the most painful day for her...she regretted everything.

End of Flashback


"And yeah that's it." Devon said and smiled.


"Are you sure you are really moving on after what happened?" Sam asked.


"Yeah,and besides it's already two months ago since that stupid guy left me." she said.She took a sip from her coffee and stand from her seat.


"Okay,where are you going?" Sam asked.


"My cousin,Fretzie is outside..You wanna come?" She asked.


"Yeah sure." He stand  from his seat and left with Devon...
